France Costrel

As you must have guessed, I'm French... and coming from Normandy! 

After working in Paris for a national TV station, I entered New York University's 
"News & Documentary" program. 

I have always wanted to be a journalist and I now dream of making documentaries. My favorite topics are social, cultural and international relations issues and I just love translating life into images and sounds.

"Finding Fathers" is my first film. I produced, shot and edited it as a "one-man-band journalist". 
It was a real pleasure to work on it and a good way to combine my French & American backgrounds, with my passion for history & film.

I have a B.A in History from the Sorbonne University, Paris, as well as a masters' degree in History & Media.
