“
Finding Fathers” is a 40-minute documentary that explores the journeys of American orphans whose fathers were killed during the Battle of Normandy, France, in 1944.

Harry, Anne and Maxine want to keep their fathers’ memory alive and to honor what they died for: Freedom. This desire to remember is still shared by some French passionate who live in Normandy.

High Definition camera and vérité footage, along with several intimate interviews, show how these tragic losses have compelled three particular orphans to begin a quest for identity. Although most people know about D-Day, it is often viewed as ancient history and we tend to forget that it still has a strong impact on thousands of Americans.
